Your Neighbor is Chris Brown: Enjoy the Loud Graffiti and Loud Parties

Chris Brown is really making his mark in his neighborhood ... literally. The 24-year-old rapper has infuriated neighbors by graffiti tagging his house and having loud parties.

In January 2013, Brown got into an altercation with singer-songwriter Frank Ocean over a parking space, outside a recording studio in West Hollywood. Los Angeles police said that Brown is under investigation, describing the incident as "battery" due to Brown punching the victim.

In September 2012, Brown was criticized for getting a new neck tattoo that look like the face of a battered woman.

On June 14, 2012,  Rapper Drake and his entourage were involved in a scuffle with Chris Brown at a nightclub called WIP in the SoHo neighborhood of New York City. About eight people were injured during the brawl, including a female tourist from Australia and San Antonio Spurs star Tony Parker.

On November 1, 2012 Chris returned  to court to ascertain whether or not he had violated his probation less than 24 hours after attending the same party as Rihanna. He was dressed as an Islamic terrorist. He attempted to address the court and was told by his lawyer, Armenian-American criminal defense attorney Mark Geragos, "I don't dance; you don't talk." During 2012 Chris Brown tested positive for Cannabis -- possibly violating his probation.

On March 22, 2011, Chris Brown had a contentious interview with Robin Roberts on Good Morning America at the Times Square Studios where he was asked about the Rihanna situation and restraining order. He created a disturbance and caused criminal damage to a window overlooking Times Square.

On August 25, 2009 Chris Brown was sentenced to five years of probation, one year of domestic violence counseling, and six months of community service. The judge retained a five-year restraining order on Brown, which requires him to be at least 50 yards away from Rihanna -- 10 yards at public events.

On March 5, 2009, Chris Brown was charged with felony assault and with making criminal threats. He was arraigned on April 6, 2009, and pleaded not guilty to one count of assault and one count of making criminal threats. On June 22, 2009, Brown pleaded guilty to a felony and accepted a plea deal of community labor, five years' formal probation and domestic violence counseling.

On February 8, 2013, Chris Brown turned himself in to the Los Angeles Police Department's Wilshire station at 6:30 p.m. and was booked under suspicion of making criminal threats while Rihanna was hospitalized with severe facial injuries. The police report did not name the female in the incident as is policy, but media sources soon revealed that the victim was Rihanna.
