The 20th Anniversary Edition of Pink Floyd's 'The Division Bell' music video directed by Aubrey Powell of Hipgnosis.
"Marooned" is the fourth track on the "The Division Bell" -- the 14th studio album by English progressive rock group Pink Floyd. The album was released in the UK by EMI Records on March 28, 1994, and the US by Columbia Records on April 4, 1994. Marooned (instrumental) was written by Richard Wright and David Gilmour.
In 2014, in conjunction with the twentieth anniversary of the original release of The Division Bell, a music video for "Marooned" was produced and released on the official Pink Floyd website, as well as with the anniversary box set of the album.
Parts of the video are clips from outer space orbit and parts of the video were filmed in Pripyat, Ukraine during the first week of April 2014. Almost the entire population of Pripyat was evacuated a few days after the Chernobyl disaster on April 26, 1986.
