Adele Music Video Breaks 24-Hour Vevo Record for Most Views in 24-Hour Period
"Hello" by English singer and songwriter Adele was released on October 23 2015 by XL Recordings as the lead single from her upcoming third studio album, 25.
The "Hello" video broke the previous 24-Hour Vevo Record by achieving over 23 million views within a 24-hour span. The music video for the song stars actor Tristan Wilds, and was filmed in Montreal and directed by Canadian actor and director Xavier Dolan. The video was also released on October 23 2015. The Sepia-toned video is the first music video to be filmed with IMAX cameras. Adele performs the song in a small vacant house and outside in a wooded forest with an old telephone booth. Those scenes are intercut with scenes of a tearful phone call and attempts to call Wild's charcter, and flashbacks to a past relationship with Wilds' character.
